No clear line separates these from luxury goods, but instead of emphasising craftsmanship and tradition, superior quality and exclusivity, masstige goods sell themselves on artisanal touches, wish fulfilment, celebrity association and trends. As one commentator puts it, masstige focuses on aspiration, &#8216;the implicit distance between the world they [the brands] represent in their communications and the product their consumers can actually afford to buy&#8217;.&#8221;\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Masstige<\/strong> \u2013 den Begriff kannte ich noch nicht. Aber diese Kategorie ergibt durchaus Sinn. Denn w\u00e4hrend ich innerlich bei der Vuitton-Tasche und dem Gucci-Cap des unterprivilegierten Teenagers aus Chorweiler auch als relativ unge\u00fcbtes Luxus-Auge sofort <em>Faaake!<\/em> schreie, sieht es bei seinen Nike-Sneakern und dem Adidas-Shirt schon anders aus.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media0.giphy.com\/media\/RsSxSI2jxwHJ5m19iw\/giphy.gif?cid=ecf05e47fcnai9qlpk0i39d46u9k8hc5sj8iyb4v1ukg3i5u&#038;rid=giphy.gif&#038;ct=g\" width=\"500\" height=\"164\" class=\"alignnone size-medium\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Im Luxussegment ist das diesen Kids egal es geht um die Hustler-Attitude \u2013 sie wissen, da\u00df jeder wei\u00df, da\u00df sie Imitationen tragen. Weil sie sich die oberste Preisklasse absolut nicht leisten k\u00f6nnen. (Weshalb auch solche Rechnungen wie &#8220;10.000 Fake-Produkte im Wert von mehreren Millionen Dollars&#8221; totaler Quatsch sind.
