The most common definition of \u201cauthentic\u201d is \u201ctrue and accurate.\u201d If I was presenting a true and accurate version of myself right now I would say that I am a bit gassy after that Mexican food at lunch.<\/p>\n<p>  Nobody wants to know that stuff and nobody wants to talk about it either. Whether you\u2019re a person or a brand, you are always presenting a shiny idealized version of your authentic self. It has always been this way and it will always remain this way.<\/p>\n<p>  Nobody is authentic, but you can be kind and honest. There is a difference.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/Ir8f1DDAiIA?rel=0&amp;controls=0&amp;showinfo=0\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Und auf das Feld der Kunst \u00fcbertragen: Samuel Hamen hat bereits vor einem halben Jahr \u00fcber die Lekt\u00fcre <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zeit.de\/kultur\/literatur\/2017-06\/authentizitaet-gegenwartsliteratur-knausgard-romane\/komplettansicht\">unliterarischer Biographien<\/a> gerantet.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\n  Es geht um Gr\u00f6\u00dferes, und so sind dann viele dieser sozialkritisch durchaus wichtigen Romane selbstvergessen und erz\u00e4hltechnisch anspruchsarm.<\/p>\n<p>  Dieser Schwund an erz\u00e4hlerischen M\u00f6glichkeiten wird von diesen authentizistischen Schreibverfahren nur zu gerne in Kauf genommen.
