Durch Vandalismus an ihren eigenen (absichtlich geschmacklosen) Plakaten, durch von ihnen selbst ins Leben gerufene Boykottgruppen und \u00e4hnliche Mittel, haben Holiday und seine Mitstreiter es geschafft, trotz sehr bescheidener Mittel ein \u00fcberproportional gro\u00dfes Ma\u00df an Publicity zu generieren.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\n  It\u2019s easy to sound smart and provocative when you\u2019re the underdog. It\u2019s easier to be reckless when you have nothing to lose. It\u2019s also easier to create a united front when you really are being persecuted or attacked\u2014when you\u2019re an outsider.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Wie die \u00dcberschrift des Artikels andeutet, ist seine Lekt\u00fcre nicht nur f\u00fcr professionelle Marketer interessant. Denn im Internetzeitalter der allgemeinen Aufmerksamkeits\u00f6konomie gibt es gute Gr\u00fcnde, Reiz\/Reaktion-Schemata zu analysieren. Nicht umsonst geh\u00f6rt Holidays Bestseller &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2nVf9E9\">Trust Me, I&#8217;m Lying<\/a>&#8221; zu den Lieblingsb\u00fcchern der Alt-Right Propagandaabteilung, die es statt als Warnung eben einfach als Anleitung verstehen.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"853\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Q__bSi5rBlw\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Auch wenn sich der neue US-Pr\u00e4si nicht gerade \u00fcberschw\u00e4nglicher Beliebtheit erfreut \u2013 selbst unerw\u00fcnschter Erfolg hat noch eine ganze Menge V\u00e4ter. So liefert jedenfalls eine Websuche nach &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/duckduckgo.com\/?q=How+I+accidentally+helped+Trump&amp;atb=v33-7__&amp;ia=web\">accidentally helped Trump<\/a>&#8221; eine recht lange Liste an entweder distanzierenden Schulterklopfern oder vorsatzlosem T\u00e4ter-Blaming.<\/p>\n<p>Beispielsweise Timothy O&#8217;Leary zum Einflu\u00df seiner <a href=\"https:\/\/medium.com\/@timothyoleary_70050\/how-i-accidentally-helped-elect-donald-trump-3c6b5282d00c\">90er-Infomercials<\/a>, ein wirklich abgefeimtes St\u00fcck Eigenwerbung.
